Why the final price is different with online booking price? The short answer is this: Prices vary based on the time it takes from the beginning of the groom to the final touches. The amount of time your furbaby needs varies based on the selected service, condition of coat, requested haircut, any add-on treatments, and temperament of your furbaby. An estimate of the services I offer can be viewed on the service page.

How come we don't have a set price? Our grooming price changes depending on the size of your furbaby, breed, coat texture, fur length and styling YOU request. All pooches are different and so are the owner's request on their pet's hair styling. That is the reason why our pricing is different for every pet and clients.

How long does it take from grooming service? We aim for: 3-4 hours for a full groom 3 hours for a bath and tidy 2-3 hours for a short coated bath Working with animals is unpredictable, so exact times can be hard to determine. If you need your dog back by a certain time, please let us know when you make your appointment and we can accommodate. Please always leave extra time for cuddles, play, and bond building between dog and groomer. We always text 15 minutes before we are done with their glam.

What vaccines do I need?In compliance with California Health and Safety Code, Section 121690, which mandates the vaccination of dogs four months of age against rabies (subdivision (b)), we emphasize the importance of canine health and safety. Therefore, we highly recommend administering all four core vaccines—canine parvovirus, distemper, canine hepatitis, and rabies. As a precautionary measure, we advise pet owners to wait a minimum of 48 hours after any vaccinations before scheduling grooming services. This ensures the well-being of the pet and minimizes potential risks associated with grooming shortly after vaccination.

When should I bring my puppy in?We recommend starting a puppy with grooming as soon as they get their second round of puppy vaccine (usually at 3 months). The earlier, the better. It’s ideal to come in for a couple sessions of quick bath and trim so we can train and work with your furbaby on getting them used to the salon environment and find grooming fun and excitable! Puppies before their rabies vaccine will not be able to free roam in the salon, because they are technically not fully vaccinated yet.

How late can I be to my appointment? Our groomers will wait for a maximum of 15 minutes for your scheduled appointment. However, please be advised that this grace period strictly concludes at the 15-minute mark. Any arrival beyond this time will be considered late, as 16 minutes will not be construed as within the grace period. Regrettably, our groomers will not be able to accommodate late arrivals as it would impact subsequent appointments.

How often should I bring my dogs in?Breed and Coat Type: Dogs with longer or thicker coats generally require more frequent grooming to prevent matting, tangling, and skin issues. Breeds such as poodles, Bichon Frises, and Yorkshire Terriers may need grooming every 4-6 weeks. Short-haired breeds may require less frequent grooming but still benefit from occasional baths and brushing. Lifestyle: If your dog spends a lot of time outdoors, they may get dirtier more quickly and may need more frequent baths. Dogs that participate in activities like hiking or swimming may also require more frequent grooming to remove debris and prevent coat issues. Health and Hygiene: Regular grooming helps maintain your dog's overall health and hygiene. Keeping their coat clean, nails trimmed, and ears and teeth checked can prevent issues such as matting, nail overgrowth, ear infections, and dental problems. Personal Preference: Some owners prefer to maintain a specific grooming schedule for their dogs to keep them looking and feeling their best. Others may schedule grooming appointments based on their dog's individual needs or when they notice signs of matting, shedding, or odor.

Can you just provide a haircut only? I recently bathed my dog at home.Sorry, we DO NOT offer a haircut only service. Bathing and fluffing the coat are the MOST important part of the grooming process for groomers to create a cute fluffy styling so giving them a bath & fluffing them up professionally at the salon is required.
-
What if my dog is matted? In severe cases where mats are extensive or deeply embedded, we prioritize your dog's comfort and well-being. As such, we may recommend shaving your dog's coat. While this may result in a shorter hairstyle than desired, it's often the most practical solution to remove mats and prevent further discomfort. Shaving allows for a fresh start, enabling your dog's skin to breathe and reducing the risk of skin irritation or infection associated with severe matting. Our priority is to ensure that your pet is comfortable and healthy, and we'll work with you to determine the best course of action for your furry friend's grooming needs.
-
Do you have FLEA/TICK SHAMPOO if my cat has fleas or ticks? No, we do not provide cat flea baths, because cats have very sensitive skin, and flea/tick shampoo can be too harsh on them. We do recommend taking your cat to a professional veterinary grooming care, where they can treat the fleas while monitoring how their skin reacts to the shampoo.
-
Why can’t I bring my cat in on weekends? Please be advised that cats are highly sensitive animals and can easily become stressed by loud noises such as high velocity dryers or barking dogs. In the busy environment typically experienced on weekends in our salon, cats may exhibit signs of distress including growling, hissing, or biting. For the safety and well-being of both our groomers and your beloved feline companions, we have made the decision to not accept any cat appointments on weekends. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in ensuring a calm and safe environment for all pets during grooming sessions. Please schedule your cat's grooming appointments for weekdays only.
-
My cat sheds too much, why can’t I shave them?We don't recommend shaving your cat. It takes the cat's natural defenses away from it by removing most of the fur. Also, there is the possibility that the fur may not grow back looking as healthy as it used to. We recommend our de-shed treatment. You'll find that shedding is cut back dramatically.
-
Should I take my indoor cat in for a bath? Many people think of cats as “self-cleaning”, but that’s not the case! Indoor cats still need to be taken care of. Their coats act like dust mops collecting dust from places like under the bed, under the couch, on top of the cabinet that you might accidentally forget to wipe down etc..This can cause just as many hygiene problems as dogs that cat owners tend to overlook. Bathing them to get the dust off of their coat every couple of months make their self-cleaning easier and healthier.

Kennels or Free Roam? This largely will depend on each dog. Although we do allow dogs to free roam, please understand that not all dogs behave as they would at a daycare or dog park. It's a different vibe here. On any given day you may find your dogs waiting next to the only person they know, their groomer. Dogs are encouraged to politely greet each other and rest or “hangout” until it's their time to be groomed. Every now and then two dogs will find their soulmate and become pals. Friendly, respectful, play is encouraged.

What makes us different? Our goal is to make your dog look like the cutest stuffed animal. Asian-Fusion grooming is a new popular trend in the grooming industry that makes your furbaby look more like a stuffed animal or a teddy bear. We don't like to shave much (unless we really have to), we like to keep your fur baby fluffy so our grooming might take a bit longer than other grooming salons. For us to provide this fancy cute look, providing a good bath & blow out becomes very important. We hand-dry them & straight out the coat (yes, just like humans) fluff them up to give some volume to its coat. That way, we can create that perfect round muzzle, round face & ears.
